We are a member of the TECH-NET Professional Automotive Service program and one of only 11 vehicle repair facilities in Canada that has earned the ASE Blue Seal certification. MSJ Automotive Services has been involved in the public safety industry since 2009 when the long-standing Windsor Communications was merged into our operation. With a proud history stretching back to 1954, our public safety experts provide consulting & design services, fabrication, product sales, installations & custom fitting and complete repairs and maintenance. Products offered include vehicular emergency lighting, siren systems, mobile workspace solutions, computer docks & mounts, prisoner transport & canine solutions and complete fleet management, vehicle tracking and fuel-saving/emission reduction systems.
MSJ Automotive Services of Windsor, Ontario, opened its doors for the first time on July 4, 1989. The business was located at 355 Eugenie St., Windsor, Ontario. The building consisted of 5 service bays with 2 hoists and a chassis dynamometer, accompanied by a customer-friendly servicing and waiting area. Over the years, the five-bay facility became too small to handle the volume of business that came from our customer’s needs. The location and clientele we had developed helped us decide that we would move close by, and the new property was purchased directly behind the existing shop.
In April of 1998, the new 10-bay facility was open for business. It consisted of a modern/comfortable waiting area, a large training/lunch room overlooking the shop area, six hoists, a drive-on express lube bay, a networked computer shop management system and an in-floor radiant heating system. In 2002, 2003, and 2005, MSJ Automotive was named the top automotive repair facility in Canada by CARQUEST North America. This was followed by another great year (2006) when MSJ Automotive of Windsor, Ontario, was named SSGM’s repair facility of the year and became the only Canadian winner of the CARQUEST Automotive Service Excellence award of North America.
MSJ Automotive grew again in April 2009 when we purchased the public safety division from Kelcom. The public safety division of MSJ Automotive services the police, fire, EMS, border services, public works, construction and landscape industries. In 2012, MSJ Automotive added the Tirecraft banner to our facility to once again diversify what we can offer our existing and prospective clients.

The shop dismounted my Nitto NT555R from the old rims and mounted on the new ones. Highly polished aluminum, so of course I was weary of marking these up! No problem, dealt with Eric, totally understood what I was looking for. Got these back without a single mark!!!

I am sitting here waiting for my car, getting the tires rotated. I have to say the front office is so friendly! And to my surprise, an elderly gentleman was told that he didn’t quite need tires yet! Wow! How honest!! They could have easily sold this man a new set of tires! This company cares more about the customer instead of making a buck!
